Sliding Window
Sliding windows have two sections that are usually made from single windows, and one of the sections slides horizontally overtop of the other to open or close.

Advantages: 
Sliding Windows open with the sash sliding left or right. Since they slide without protruding, sliding windows are an excellent choice for rooms facing the common corridors, walkways or porches. They are typically easy to open because they don’t open outwards. Sliders are quite simple, having no mechanical parts and no tension mechanism. This simplicity often makes them the least expensive type of window. 

Disadvantages:
The disadvantage is that only partial (33-50%) of the window sashes can be opened, depending on if you're opting for 2 or 3-way tracks. Like casements, they can offer clear views and ample ventilation, but they cannot be sealed as tightly as casements.



Casement Windows

Casement windows swing out to the side and usually pivot from side hinges. This allows the window to be constructed of solid glass and offers a less obstructed view overall. 

Advantages:
As compared to sliding windows, Its advantages are 
large open area, good ventilation, good sealing, heat preservation and excellent impermeability than other window types. When closed and locked, casement windows can make a very effective seal for improved sound insulation. 

Disadvantages:
Casement windows occupies more indoor or outdoor space when opened.
